• Muddy River Media – free Christian video clips for teaching, background, etc.
• WingClips – copyright approved clips from mainstream films organised in useful themes
• ScreenVue – another source of mainstream film clips, this covered by CVLI licensing
• CVLI (Christian Video Licensing International)
• Internet Movie Archive – free archive of material in various categories, mostly old archive footage
• Search4Worship – links to other visual resources

Sources of stills / photos / art

• Shared Worship Backgrounds – a Flicker group for people to share backgrounds (check the (c) restrictions)
• Biblical Art – an easy way to find art based on biblical themes or bible passages, however it is only then a links site you still need to sort out copyright if you find something you want to use.

• FLICKR – everything is copyright, but many users release things using Creative Commons licensing
• Free Foto conditions apply to use
• NASSA – fantastic free (at least not for profit) resource of all of NASSA’s image database
• Expressions ( I haven’t checked the conditions here, never had a need to use it myself yet)
• copyrightfreephotos.com – does exactly what it says, a collection of completely free images
• stock.xchng – an interesting idea for exchanging stock photos.  Again, I haven’t yet had the need to use this but the search lists seem comprehensive.
• US Government Archives – links to a mix of copyright and royalty free links, so check what you are downloading.
• Pixel Perfect – an image archive with commercial and non-commercial free images.
• Open Photo – Creative Commons site.
• Lycos news photos – Lycos news photos. There are some restrictions on use here but it’s probably the safest if you need news photos.
• StockVault – category-based access rather than keyword search, but lots of good quality images

• Mobi Gratis – tracks from Mobi designed for film and video use, you have to apply to use each track but if successful it’s all free.
